The Member of Parliament for the Fanteakwa North Constituency in the Eastern Region, Hon. Kwame Appiah Kodua, has donated educational materials to students who have completed Junior High School and are preparing to enter Senior High School.
The items donated include school bags, books, chop boxes and other essential learning materials to support the students as they transition from JHS to SHS.
Hon. Kwame Appiah Kodua, who represents the constituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), said the initiative forms part of his commitment to supporting education and helping young people in the constituency achieve their academic aspirations.
According to him, providing students with the necessary educational materials will help ease the financial burden on parents and guardians while encouraging the beneficiaries to take their education seriously.
He urged the students to make good use of the items and remain focused on their studies, emphasizing that education is key to securing a better future and contributing meaningfully to the development of their communities.
Some of the beneficiaries expressed their appreciation to Hon. Kwame Appiah Kodua for the gesture. They said the items would be of great help to them as they prepare to begin their Senior High School education.
The students thanked the MP for remembering them at an important stage of their academic journey and promised to use the materials responsibly. They also pledged to work hard in school and make their parents, teachers and the constituency proud.
The beneficiaries believe the support will help them begin their SHS education with the necessary learning materials and reduce some of the financial pressure on their families.
The donation is expected to benefit students from different backgrounds and contribute to improving access to essential educational resources within the Fanteakwa North Constituency.
