Ghana coach Carlos Queiroz will unveil his provisional squad for the upcoming 2026 World Cup tournament this week.
The Portuguese tactician replaced Otto Addo in April following a string of unimpressive results in the March international friendlies.
Queiroz has since been monitoring Ghanaians players globally as he prepares to name his squad for the tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
As the tournament approaches, Queiroz is expected to name his provisional squad before trimming down the list for the tournament in North America on June 1.
As part of preparations of the mundial, the Black Stars will lock horns with Mexico in an international friendly this month before wrapping up preparations with a game against Wales.
The four-time African champions are paired in Group L alongside Panama, England and Croatia.
Ghana will open their World Cup campaign against Panama on June 17 in Toronto, before facing England on June 23 in Boston. Their final group fixture will see them take on Croatia on June 27 in Philadelphia.
