The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will unveil Black Stars new coach Carlos Queiroz on Thursday, April 23, 2026.
Queiroz was named Ghana coach last week, replacing Otto Addo, who was shown the exit door following the Black Stars unimpressive performance in friendlies against Austria and Germany.
The Portuguese veteran tactician is expected to lead the West African powerhouse for the impending 2026 World Cup tournament, to be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Having landed the job, the former Real Madrid and Manchester United assistant trainer is expected to face the press on Thursday afternoon at the Alisa Hotel in Accra to answer questions regarding what he brings to the national team.
He will use the moment to share his vision for the team, outline his technical philosophy, and answer questions from the press ahead of global showpiece.
Ghana will be making a fifth appearance at the Mundial and have been drawn in Group L alongside Panama, England, and Croatia.
