Rev Michael Kofi Appiah, who founded and led Light of Faith Ministry, is reported to have booked a room late at night with a woman said to be a member of his church and a university student.
According to early accounts, the two arrived at the facility around 10pm, ordered food and drinks, and later went into their room.
Hours later, staff reportedly discovered the pastor unconscious, prompting immediate alarm and a call to authorities. He was later confirmed dead.
The woman who was with him at the time has become central to the investigation. While her exact involvement remains unclear, investigators are expected to question her as they piece together the events of the night.
