Kwadwo Poku, a member of the NPP Communications Team, has stated that rather than continuously blaming past governments, the current government should concentrate on finding solutions to the country’s problems.
Speaking on Joy News, Mr. Poku contended that the NDC must now be held responsible for achieving its campaign promises to address the nation’s issues.
“You campaigned to inherit government. Ghanaians voted for you. Fix the mess,” he stated.
He charged that the NDC made pledges during the campaign that they are currently finding difficult to keep.
“For me, Ghanaians clearly now understand that the NDC hoodwinked them. They really didn’t mean everything they said,” he claimed.
Mr. Poku emphasized that people will evaluate the government based on current circumstances rather than past incidents.
“What Ghanaians are going to judge you on is what is happening now,” he said.
He also argued that political leaders must move beyond complaints and focus on governance.
“It’s not about complaining. It’s about fixing the problems,” he added.
