The Youth Employment Agency continues to expand opportunities through its Labour Exchange Programme, formerly known as the YEA Work Abroad Programme, as selected beneficiaries were flown to the United Arab Emirates to take up roles in the hospitality industry, where they will be working with brands such as KFC, Pizza Hut, and Hardee’s under a two-year contract.
At a pre-departure orientation held at the Agency, the Chief Executive Officer, Malik Basintale, expressed his appreciation to the beneficiaries for placing their trust in the YEA initiative. He encouraged them to remain disciplined, respect the rules of their employment, and work diligently toward achieving their personal and professional goals.
He further assured them that the Agency remains committed to their welfare, emphasizing that YEA will maintain constant communication and provide support whenever needed throughout their journey.
This initiative highlights the Youth Employment Agency’s ongoing commitment to creating global opportunities and sustainable employment pathways for the Ghanaian youth.
