As Member of Parliament for Yapei Kusawgu, John Abdulai Jinapor launched a One Million cedis (Ghc1,000,000) Education Scholarship Fund to support brilliant but needy tertiary students within the constituency.
This initiative aims to provide financial assistance to students at various levels of education, from basic through tertiary institutions, helping to reduce the financial burden on parents and promote equal access to quality education.
Speaking at the launch, the MP reaffirmed my commitment to human capital development, emphasising that education remains the most powerful tool for transforming lives and communities.
He stated that the fund will be transparently managed to ensure that beneficiaries are selected based on merit and genuine need.
The Education Scholarship Fund forms part of my broader vision to empower the youth, improve educational outcomes, and promote sustainable development in the Yapei Kusawgu Constituency.
