The High Court in Wa has sentenced Shariff Abdulai, also known as “Cristos”, to life imprisonment in hard labour for k!lling 16 people in Wa, 5 in Bole, and 1 each in Banda Nkwanta and Bamboi.
He was arrested on October 6, 2025, following sustained intelligence-led operations and investigations by the police.
This man confessed to 23 murders, mostly night watchmen and mentally ill people who he strangled or bludgeoned, removed and ate their lungs/heart/tongue after roasting them, then buried bodies in bushes.
Abdulai is expected to serve his sentence at the Nsawam Medium Security Prison.
