Member of Parliament for Akim Oda, Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah has shared that they were not informed about the plane used by President Mahama for his official tour to North Korea.
He explained that while they were aware of the trip, the specifics of the aircraft were not communicated to them.
According to him, the President should have informed the House since he knows this is an important issue and Ghanaians will definitely talk about it.
Speaking on Bryt Adekye Mu Nsem with Kwamina Sam Biney, he suggested that President Mahama should have informed Parliament that he will be using Dzata jet which belongs to his brother, since the plane was not the usual one.
“Nobody told us about the plane, we just discovered when we saw Dzata written on it, and President Mahama only told us he is traveling but didn’t tell us the plane he will be using” he stated
He added that, the minority spoke to the communication director and he confirmed that indeed it’s his brother’s plane that the President and his crew used.
