Lands and Natural Resources minister, Emmanuel Armah-Buah has inaugurated the independent Petition Review Committee to examine the petition submitted last week by Adamus Resources Limited regarding the revocation of their mining leases for Nkroful, Akango, and Salman.
The fact-finding committee, chaired by Mr. Jerry Samuel Yaw Kuma, has been tasked with independently establishing the full facts of the matter and submit its findings and recommendations within three weeks.
Concurrently, the minister inaugurated an Interim Management Committee, chaired by Mrs Mawufemor Otsyina, a seasoned processing manager, to oversee and manage operations at the affected mines, pending the outcome of the review.
He am confident that both committees will discharge their mandates with utmost integrity and diligence to ensure operational stability, job security and to safeguard the national interest.
