Police at the Adweso District Command in the Eastern Region have launched an investigation into the mysterious death of a 52-year-old tailor, Felix Amanor, whose body was found at Dominion City near Pantoase in the New Juaben South Municipality.
The deceased, a resident of Blue Street near Adweso, was allegedly attacked and killed by unknown assailants.
His body was discovered naked on a roadside by residents on Sunday morning.
According to family members, Felix Amanor left his home on Saturday evening to watch the Canada versus Morocco football match. He later returned home, changed his clothes and went out again, but never came back.
Residents who found the body alerted the police, and it was later identified as that of Felix Amanor.
Speaking to Bryt FM, the deceased’s father, Godfred Amanor, said the family reported the incident to the Adweso District Police Command.

took inventory of crime scene evidence and conveyed the body to the morgue at St. Joseph’s Hospital for preservation and autopsy.
Sources close to the investigation indicated that there was signs of bruises around the back of his kneck.
Police reportedly recovered the deceased’s clothes and the keys to his tailoring shop near where the body was found.
The tragic incident has thrown the Adweso community into mourning, with relatives, friends and customers gathering at the deceased’s residence to sympathize with the bereaved family.
Felix Amanor was widely described by residents as a peaceful and hardworking man. He leaves behind two children and a wife who is reportedly ill.
Police say investigations are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding his death and identify those responsible.
