The Eastern Regional Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Samuel Osei Sarkodie, has fulfilled his pledge to support the academic development of pupils who participated in a quiz competition sponsored by his foundation, the SOS Foundation.
Mr. Sarkodie delivered the promised educational support during visits to Modest Glory Academy, Asokore Kuma Methodist Basic School and Dorci International, where he interacted with pupils and reaffirmed his commitment to promoting education and academic excellence.
Speaking during the visits, Mr. Sarkodie stressed that his support for the pupils was not a one-off gesture but part of a sustained commitment to helping children achieve their educational aspirations.
He noted that describing children as the future of the nation must go beyond words and be backed by deliberate efforts to provide them with the resources, opportunities and conducive environment needed to succeed academically.
According to him, investing in children’s education remains a critical step towards building a brighter future for Ghana, as it equips the next generation with the knowledge and opportunities needed to contribute meaningfully to national development.
Mr. Sarkodie further linked the initiative to the vision of the NPP’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, of building a Ghana that creates better opportunities and a brighter future for generations to come.
He reaffirmed his determination to sustain the SOS Foundation’s educational interventions, emphasizing that the foundation would continue to pursue initiatives aimed at strengthening academic development and expanding opportunities for young people.
The initiative underscores the importance of supporting pupils beyond academic competitions and encouraging them to pursue excellence in their educational journey.
