The Abuakwa North Municipal Assembly has marked Customer Service Week 2026 with a series of weeklong activities designed to honor customers, foster stronger relationships through engagement and explore ways to enhance the service experience in line with the Assembly’s vision.
Throughout the week staff showcased a variety of dress codes from corporate and traditional to casual and sports wear each day from Monday to Friday.
The dress code initiative was more than a display of style. It carried symbolic significance. Each theme was carefully chosen to reflect different facets of customer service. Corporate wear underscored professionalism and the Assembly’s commitment to excellence while traditional attire celebrated Ghanaian heritage and the importance of connecting with clients on a cultural level. Casual and sports wear highlighted approachability, teamwork and the value of a relaxed friendly environment in building trust with customers. Together the themes reinforced the message that good service delivery requires versatility, cultural awareness and a personal touch.
Staff also renewed their pledge to deliver the highest standard of service to the people of Abuakwa North.
The celebration wrapped up on Friday with the Municipal Coordinating Director Mr. Jamani Dramani engaged staff in a pep talk before joining them for a group photograph. This year’s Customer Service Week is the first of its kind at the Abuakwa North Municipal Assembly and will be remembered as a milestone.
