The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will present GH¢50,000 to each of the 18 clubs expected to play in the premier League this season.
The money is expected to cushion the clubs while the local football governing body awaits sponsorship for the league.

Aside the premier clubs, all the 48 Division One League (DOL) clubs would also receive GH¢25,000 each while women’s premier league clubs would be presented with GH¢10,000 each.
According to a statement issued by the GFA, the Executive Council has approved the financial package to the tune of GH¢900,000 for the premier clubs and GH¢1.2m for the DOL clubs.
Apart from that each of the premier league clubs would be presented with 30 footballs while the DOL and women’s Premier League clubs would receive 20 footballs each.
