Ghanaian songstress Ethel Esi Eshun, known in the entertainment industry as eShun has disclosed that ill-treatment from her former manager Stephen Mensah put her through and has also averred that Stephen Mensah asked her to pay GH₵ 120,000 before handing over all the passwords to her social media accounts to her.
According to her, after going through a toxic relationship with her former manager, she asked him (Stephen Mensah) to give her back all the passwords to her social media accounts which he refused.
“I remember talking to GHAMRO so I get my passwords back but it didn’t work out. He (Stephen) told me in the face that he will change my name despite it being verified. Also added that he can only give the passwords if I pay him, GH₵ 120,000 before he releases them to me,” she revealed.
The ‘Akyia’ hitmaker went on and added that if his former manager, (Stephen) made his intentions clear from the onset when he decided to help her build a household name just because he was her then-boyfriend, she wouldn’t have agreed.
“He has called many people in the music industry just to paint me black and sugar-coats his side to make look ungrateful in their sight. He even asked some of the industry players not to help me so I come back to him. After paying for songs to play on air, Stephen will ensure the music isn’t played. He knew I wasn’t vocal, so he used that against me. Yes! I cheated on him twice and like I said, I don’t regret my action”, eShun said.
