Parts of New Juaben North have begun experiencing flooding incidents after recent downpours.
One of the worst affected areas was Adom Washing Bay Area.
Wednesday and Thursday rainstorm flooded the area and submerged some cars at a mechanic shop.
Nonetheless, the New Juaben North Municipal Assembly is expecting that the perennial flooding situation in the municipality would be mitigated this year after dredging some major drains in the Municipality.
Meanwhile, the abandoned site for construction of new Assembly Block for a New Juaben South Municipal Assembly also got flooded.
The New Juaben South Municipal Assembly pulled down a portion of its old structure to construct a modern office accommodation with stores. But the project has been abandoned after digging foundation trenches since December 2019.
