The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will formally launch the 2019/2020 football season on Friday 20th December 2019 at the Accra Sports Stadium at 5pm.
This event is taking place within the framework of the Football Association’s calendar of events for the 2019/2020 football season, which kicks off on the weekend of December 27-29, 2019.
The Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia leads the list of distinguished guests invited to grace the event, which will usher in the return of domestic league after nearly two seasons break.
The guests list also includes Sports Minister, Hon. Isaac Asiamah, the director general of the NSA, as well as executives from the corporate community and the media.
18 clubs will participate in the league, including, Accra Great Olympics, Kumasi King Faisal, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Accra Hearts of Oak, Liberty Professionals, Wa All Stars, Berekum Chelsea, Inter Allies and Tema Youth.
The others are Medeama, WAFA, Eleven Wonders, Ebusua Dwarfs, Bechem Utd, Elmina Sharks, Dreams FC, Ash Gold, Karela and Aduana Stars.
The league has been programmed to kick off on Friday December 27, 2019.
