Rosemond Brown, well known in the entertainment industry as ‘Akuapem Poloo’ ways of rising to fame by being a ‘partial nudist’ as some social media critics described her has attracted much condemnation in the minds of Ghanaian especially OKUAPEMAN GLOBAL, an Akuapem foundation which has been incorporated as a company limited by guarantee under the Companies Act, 2019 (Act 9).
According to a letter released by the foundation, in as much as Miss Brown is selling the name ‘Akuapem’, her act (as described as childish) makes her a good patient for psychiatric examination and therefore humbly request her to consider taking an immediate visit to the hospital in that regard.
“Much as we are excited for the use of the name “Akuapem” in her showbiz name even though she is or not in any way a citizen of ‘’Akuapem’’ we state in very clear terms that we are beginning to get worried over her acts which seem to be always controversial and which put her in a terribly bad light.” The release stated.
The letter signed by the foundations’ general secretary, Nana Bekoe Dankwah, however, cautioned Rosemond Brown to stop tarnishing the good name of the Akuapems as they are known for being well cultured and well brought up.
Below is the release:
