A 60- year-old man, Francis Tetteh, has been electrocuted at Bosom Abena a community near Awutu Beraku in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region.
According to an eyewitness, Evans Krobia, Francis Tetteh now deceased who was a farmer was electrocuted while weeding around a high voltage electricity pole.
He is reported to have stopped people hired to weed to stop, argued that the portion is part of his house compound, therefore, will weed himself.
However, he met his untimely death when attempted to cut down a tree very close to the high voltage electrical pole while weeding.
His body has since been deposited at Gomoa Akotsi Morgue while police begin an investigation.
