Ghanaian musician, Eugene Kwame Marfo, famed as Kuami Eugene, has said that whoever says his crowning of the new highlife king by Amakye Dede is staged is not wise.
He made this statement on the basis that there was no way a young boy like him could have connived with Highlife God Amakye Dede for such an honour.
“If you look at a young boy like me, do you think I can stage my crowning with Amakye Dede such a great man? He quizzed.
Speaking in an interview on Bryt TV, the ‘open gate’ hitmaker said he was honoured to be crowned by Amakye Dede and it really means a lot to him.
“The fact that the award was from Amakye Dede really meant a lot to me because we all know I’m not a small person so even if you think I have not reached there then it doesn’t really matter to me”
According to him, he deserves the honour because he has worked hard to achieve what he has and will continue to do more.
He added that whoever made such a statement is definitely a hater or someone who is obviously jealous of how far he has gotten.
He also urged Ghanaians to desist from spreading bad news about people when they make it in life and should rather support them.
