The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) is to expand its newly created Rapid Response and Counter-Terrorism Unit (RRCTU) to all sixteen regions in Ghana.
The Unit was established in 2019 to ensure that Ghana’s porous borders are well secured to prevent transnational crimes and infiltration by terrorists and extremists.
