The Member of Parliament for Tano South Constituency in the Ahafo Region, Charles Asiedu, has supported three hundred students who gained admission to Senior High School with essential educational items.
The items, including mattresses, chop boxes and exercise books, are aimed at easing the financial burden on parents and supporting the students as they begin their second-cycle education.
Three hundred ( 300 ) BECE candidates from the Tano South Constituency who have gained admission to various Senior High Schools have received support from their Member of Parliament, Charles Asiedu.
The beneficiaries were presented with mattresses, chop boxes and exercise books to help them prepare for their transition to Senior High School.
The initiative, according to the MP, forms part of his commitment to supporting education and improving the quality of education in the Tano South Constituency.
He says he has also introduced award schemes to recognize and motivate hardworking teachers for their dedication and contribution

The Ahafo Regional Minister, Charity Gardner, commended the Member of Parliament for the initiative and congratulated the beneficiaries for their achievements.
She encouraged the students to make good use of the support and take advantage of the opportunities ahead to develop their talents and realize their full potential.
The Regional Minister also cautioned the students against negative peer influence as they transition into Senior High School.
She urged them to remain focused, disciplined and committed to their academic goals.
