Dozens of people are feared dead after a two-storey Church building under construction collapsed at Akyem Batabi in the Asene Manso Akroso District of the Eastern Region.
The incident occurred Tuesday afternoon.
Dozens of members of the Church of Prosperity founded by Prophet Akoa Nazaret Isaac have been trapped.
As of 4:40pm two person s have been retrieved one was dead while the other in critical condition hence rushed to the hospital.
Join rescue team made up of officials it the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), Ghana National Fire Service, Police, Ambulance Service are currently at the scene with excavators trying to rescue many trapped under the rubbles.
