Newly appointed General Manager of Dreams FC Ameenu Shardow has revealed that a number of teams are after the signature of their midfield enforcer Michael Agbekpornu.
The Ghana Premier League is set to start on November 13 after six months of inactive football.
However, clubs are busy on the transfer market augmenting their charges for the 2020/2021 campaign.
The Still Believe lads is one of the clubs believe to have spent in the ongoing transfer window having signed Joseph Esso, Abel Manomey, Agyenim Boateng and other top players ahead of the season.
Report went rife that the young midfielder who was a member of the U23 national team has signed a 3-year contract to commit his future to Dreams FC but with that notwithstanding, the General Manager of the club has revealed he is being chased by numerous clubs.
Speaking to Wontumi FM, he said, “As I speak, there are a lot of offers for the player to leave, I must be honest but we are planning with him because he is one of the outstanding players for us. Considering the business we’ve done on the market his quality will come out so we are relying on him”
“However, in doing this things we are very much aware that ones he is able to have a good campaign he will attract good offers and so as we plan with him we also planning a succession in the pipeline”
“But as I speak he is part and parcel of our plans for the upcoming season but looking at how our business plans are when the opportunity avails itself we can lose him that is why we’ve augment the squad to the fact that the exit of a player won’t affect the team” he said.
