An Elder of The Church of Pentecost is set to launch his debut music album in Koforidua at 2:00pm on Sunday, November 29, 2020.
Elder Freeman Stephen Kumi is a gifted singer and songwriter who has been singing in church for the past three decades under the tutelage of legend gospel musician Elder Kwasi Mireku.
His maiden album titled “Mayeyi Nsa Da” has six songs -a mixture of worship and praises which he featured Gospel Artiste, Minister Appiah the “Mome Tie” hitmaker.
Some gospel artists expected to grace the album launch at Legion Hall in Koforidua are Elder Mireku, Minister Appiah, Minister Patrick, Grace Asare, and hosts of others.
The Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Free Zones Authority, Michael Okyere Baafi also the Parliamentary Candidate of the ruling NPP is expected to be present.
Many Pastors and Elders of The Church of Pentecost will also be present.
Addressing the media ahead of the album launch, Elder Freeman said he is looking forward to a successful launching on Sunday.
He said, “After Elder Mireku who lifted the flag of Koforidua, we haven’t had any new gospel musician who will move the frontiers. By the grace of God, I am hopeful Koforidua will rise again and take its place “.
According to him, his songs” were inspired by the word of God received through meditations and reading of the scriptures therefore it is Holy spirit-filled songs that will break the chains of bondage and bring miracles to those who patronize the music”
