The Former Managing Director (MD) of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company (BOST) Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng popularly known as “Approachers” has assured residents in Sefwi that his ambition is to eradicate poverty in the area.
Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng has selected HUNDRED (100), young men and women, across the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency to take them through skills training for free to render them a job.
Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng in an interview with Bryt FM reporter, Hamza Mohammed explained that he intends to help the individuals especially the youth to get something doing to earn a living, hence the skills training initiative.
The Businessman mogul, Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng affirmed that he is aware of president Akuffo-Addo’s vision of “Agenda for Job Creation-Equal Opportunities for All” hence the training at the grass-root level will ensure the creation of jobs for all without taking into account the religious, ethnics background or gender of the trainees.
Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng stressed that the training would be organized between Three (3) to six (6) months and thereafter all of them would be employed automatically into their respective job areas to ensure that many people as possible within the Constituency acquired some means of livelihood.
He said the trainees would be taken through Mining Equipment Operation (MDT), Modern Printing Press Operation, Vehicle Testing, Road Worthy Technician, Typing Skills and Designing.
The Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate hopeful, encouraged the beneficiaries to take the training seriously to ensure a positive impact on their living standards and also touch the lives of others.
The beneficiaries who were much excited thanked Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng for his kind gesture.
