A motorcycle rider identified as Samuel Duah, 20, has died in a fatal crash at Akyem Asunafo near Akyem Kwabeng in Atiwa West District of the Eastern Region.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Kibi Government Hospital morgue by Police.
Father of the deceased, Robert Acheampong, accompanied by seven (7) others on Sunday at about 6:30pm reported to the Police that, on the same day he had information that, his son Duah Samuel aged 20, had involved in an accident with a royal motorbike between Asamama and Ekorso and died.
Police rushed to the scene and found the lifeless body of deceased Duah Samuel lying in a ditch in the supine position with injuries on his leg and head. Police also found the unregistered accident royal motorbike in the ditch.
The body of the deceased was conveyed and deposited at the Kibi Government Hospital morgue whilst the accident motorbike impounded at the station to assist the investigation, according to Corporal Frank Owusu Nyarko, the investigator in charge of the case.
