Head coach of the Black Stars Charles Kwablan Akonnor has stated that only hard work can qualify his outfit for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Ghana has been drawn in Group G together with South Africa, Zimbabwe and Ethiopia in the world cup qualifiers for Africa.
The Black Stars failed to qualify for the 2018 soccer Mundial in Russia and Akonnor claims that Ghana must work hard to qualify this time around.
“We know all the teams, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Ethiopia will do their best to qualify but we will work hard and we know that hard work pays,” he said the aftermath of the draw in Egypt.
The qualifiers have been slated for October 2020.
