A 22- year-old farm laborer Francis Awuni, who allegedly beheaded his 45-year farm master at Sefwi Amoakrom in the Bia West District of the Western North Region will be put before court today Monday.
The Suspect was arrested after the incident Thursday, July 8, 2021.
The suspect Francis Awuni allegedly murdered the victim Mr. Azumah in his rice farm.
He cut off the head and put it in a polythene bag.
The suspect who was later arrested by a mob alleged that the deceased attempted to kill him for money rituals hence his revenge.
The Assembly member for Amoashed Electoral Area, Edward Takyi told Correspondent Kwame Kuntor the deceased, Azumah went to the Northern part of Ghana hired the suspect who is a Kusaasi, and brought him to the community as a farm laborer.
The suspect is currently in the custody of Bia West District Police Command.
The headless body of the deceased has been deposited at Bia West Government hospital for an autopsy report.
