A security man is feared dead in a violent robbery attack on Frimps Oil filling station at Akuapem Asenema in the Okere District in the Eastern Region.
Mybrytfmonline.com has gathered that the armed robbers invaded the fuel filing station about 7:20pm this evening amidst gunshots.
They allegedly shot the security man who is reported dead. Other workers are said to have sustained injuries but some managed to escape.
An eyewitness, Richard, told mybryfmonline.com that multiple gunshots were being fired.
Vehicles plying the Adukrom to Koforidua highway have stopped to avoid being shot at by the robbers.
According to the eyewitness, the Police patrol team was yet to arrive at the scene after 30 minutes of the robbery operation.
This is not the first time the fuel pumping station has been attacked by armed robbers.
