A 45-year-old woman identified as Ama Tweneboa Popularly known as Ama Brown has been found dead in a room at Nkusukum, a suburb of Mankessim in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region.
The decomposing naked dead body was found Sunday evening after a stenchy odor billowed from the room.
Information gathered by Bryt FM News Correspondent Eric Owusu Amponsah reveals that the woman went missing five days ago.
Surprisingly, the Family upon hearing the incident disappears from the community without given reasons.
The Assemblymember for the Nkusukum Electoral Area, Hon Mohammed Abubakar said the deceased got sick about two weeks ago and the Family Members took her to the hospital for treatment and later brought her back to her room.
The Assembly Man however stated he is disappointed in the deceased family for abandoning the dead body.
Mfantseman Municipal Environmental Health Officer, Rockson Amankwah warned that he will drag the family to court for their irresponsible acts should they not corporate with police for the burial of the body.
