Fire has gutted a single-room house near Auntie-Aba area in Apenkwa, a suburb of New Juaben South Municipality in the Eastern region.
The fire believed to have been caused by an electrical fault burnt household properties and personnel belongings of the occupant of the house- a woman.
No casualty was recorded during the fire outbreak which occurred in the evening around 7:00pm yesterday.
The fire was extinguished with the help of residents in the neighborhood.
Bright Ohene, son of the victim told mybrytfmonline.com that, officials of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) have visited the house for assessment.
