A 15-year-old suspected lesbian has allegedly been defiled by two young men at Nkurakan a suburb of Yilo Krobo Municipality in the Eastern region.
The suspects Julius Boateng Tettey,25, a barber, and his accomplice identified by Police only as Ire now at large live in the same house with the victim and her girlfriend.
Out of suspicion, the suspects confronted the two girls with the allegation that they are Lesbians which the girls allegedly admitted in jest.
The suspects conspired that, the alleged teenage Lesbians should taste the sweetness of d*ck hence at about 11:30pm, they stormed the room of the two girls and requested to have Sexual intercourse with them but they refused.
This infuriated the two suspects to drag the victims into the room of suspect Julius Boateng Tetteh but one of the victims managed to escape.
The two suspects pushed the victim, held her firmly, covered the mouth, and forcefully had sexual intercourse with her in turns.
The suspects subsequently took away two mobile phones of the victim worth Ghc780. In the course of the attack, the suspects also broke the door of the victim and stole her rice cooker valued at Ghc300.
The victim reported the case at the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit, DOVVSU, at the Eastern Regional Headquarters.
A police medical report was issued to the victim for medical examination and report.
The report was fully endorsed and medically confirmed.
Police proceeded to arrest Julius Boateng Tetteh but his other accomplice escaped arrest.
He denied the allegation of defilement stating that the victim is his girlfriend but admitted stealing the rice cooker and mobile phones.
Police investigators took the suspect to the scene of the crime for further investigation; however, the suspect escaped from lawful custody but was pursued and rearrested by police.
The Prosecuting officer Chief Inspector Owusu Ababio charged the accused with six counts of conspiracy to commit a crime with defilement, defilement, causing unlawful custody, unlawful entry, stealing, and escaping from lawful custody.
The accused pleaded not guilty to all six counts when put before Koforidua Circuit Court “A” presided by Her Honour Miriam Affoh.
He was admitted to a bail sum of Ghc60,000 with two sureties one to be justified.
