Member of Parliament for Sagnarigu Constituency in the Northern Region, Hon. Alhassan Bashir Fuseini has said that the Minority in parliament will never accept the 2022 budget as it brings hardship to Ghanaians.
To him, the Minority will not stand by the Nana Addo led-administration to impose wicked taxes on Ghanaians.
On Tuesday’s edition of Dadi Fm morning show “Efa Wo Ho” with host Abena Opokua Ahwenee, Hon. A. B. A Fuseini affirmed that Ghanaians are experiencing adversity under the Nana Addo led-government.
“The government should rather come out with resolutions to reduce the affliction of Ghanaians,’’ said Hon. A.B. A Fuseini.
Hon. A. B. A Fuseini retrieved that the Minority will never back the ruling government on the attempt to enact taxes on Ghanaians and the Majority have no member to intimidate the Minority.
He indicated that the introduction of the E-levy has no place in the Minority decisions, adding that the Majority must come out with good measures to enable Ghanaians to enjoy a better life in the country.
Hon. A. B. A Fuseini also explained that the hardship can also lead Ghanaians to demonstrate.
Meanwhile, the leadership of the Minority and Minority Caucuses held separate meetings on Monday to firm their arguments ahead of today’s business on the floor of the House.
