The death toll of the Pandemic COVID-19 in Ghana has surged from 1,228 on 1st December to 1,243 on 8th December 2021.
The 1,243 deaths recorded are from March 2020 to 8th December 2021 but there is no critical case as of 8th December, but 22 others are in severe condition.
Ghana Health Service Report indicates that Active cases had also increased marginally from 692 on 1st December 2021 to 738 on 8th December.
A total of 4,866,560 Ghanaians have received first and second doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine to protect themselves against the Pandemic COVID-19 as of 3rd December 2021.
Total COVID-19 vaccines doses Administered so far stands at 5,724,634.
Ghana Health Service Report indicates that 17,982 others have been vaccinated for Sputnik V, 467,230, Pfizer BoiN Tech is 199,655, and COVID-19 vaccine Jansen is 173,207.
The total number of tests conducted is 2,026,343 but only 131,547 were positive and the positivity rate is 6.5%.
