Democratic Youth for Competent Leadership, a political group affiliated with the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is calling on Energy Minister, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh to apologize to the people of Keta.

The statement, however, charged the minister to focus on solving current power outages in some parts of the country and desist from passing such comments.
The people of Keta experienced tidal waves some months ago where some communities were nearly washed away, leaving most residents homeless.
