Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Yaw Buaben Asamoah has asked its party members to avoid political symbolization at the National Annual Delegates Conference that will be held on December 20, 2021, in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi.
According to him, the Conference will be held in strict compliance with standard guidelines that will fetch progress to the citizenry and Covid-19 health protocols therefore wearing party colours is not allowed.
Speaking with Abena Pokua Ahwenee on Dadi Fm “Efa Wo Ho” morning show, Mr Buaben Asamoah affirmed that prices of goods and services including fuel, import duty, and others day in and day out are increasing hence need to curb such problems to aid the electorates have a comfortable life.
“There should not be any political colours at the National Annual Delegates Conference because it would not help us to achieve the aim of the conference,” he said.
He however entreated Ghanaians to take part in the COVID-19 vaccination to help save lives since there will be ample gathering activities in the period.
The governing New Patriotic Party(NPP) has scheduled December 18 to December 20, 2021, to hold its National Annual Delegates Conference in Kumasi, in the Ashanti region.
Meanwhile, the party has scheduled the month of October beginning Friday to hold Regional Annual Delegates Conferences in all 16 regions of the country.
This is in accordance with Article 9 of the Party’s Constitution. Notice of Amendment to the Party Constitution.
