Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac has named four local players in his 40-man provisional squad for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
The four-time African Champions are chasing a fifth Africa Cup of Nations title after last winning the competition in 1982.
The Serbian gaffer is expected to name his provisional squad today to begin preparation next week in Qatar for the tournament.
He will then prune his squad to 28 for the Nations Cup in Cameroon from January 9 to February 6, 2021.
As the Serbian gaffer prepares to name his squad, a report in the local media outlet has revealed that four local players have been named in the list which includes Hearts of Oak goalie Richard Attah, Asante Kotoko captain Ishmael Ganiyu, Fatawu Issahaku of Dreams FC and Philemon Baffuor.
The four players will join 36 other players that will leave Ghana for camping in the United Arab Emirates on December 22, 2021.
