Isaac Kofi Marfo, District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atwima Mponua District Assembly in the Ashanti region has advised Ghanaians to cultivate the habit of maintenance of properties being done by the government to ensure its sustainability and save the public purse.
He gave this worthy advice at Atwima- Abofirem, during a commission of modern state of art Yenyawoso Medical centre with equipment built by Nana Nkrumah Adasa III, Abofirem queen mother based in the USA to boost effective and efficient health care delivery.
Nana Nkrumah Adasa III, Queen-mother of Abofirem on he part said, developmental projects agenda is her vision and two years ago built a six-unit classroom block for Abofirem and was left with the health centre to help her folks especially to reduce the burden of mother’s during maternity period.
She appealed to residents to support her on the throne to ensure the community get the needed development they need.
However, some Abofirem residents showed their appreciation of the edifice by their Queen mother as expressed delight saying, it would go a long way to help in their health care matters.
