A delegation of queen mothers from the Ashanti Kingdom paid a courtesy call on the minister for Agriculture, Dr Owusu Afriyie-Akoto at the Ministry in Accra.
The visit was to officially present to the minister an invitation from the Manhyia Palace to attend the celebration of the Queen mother of the Ashanti Kingdom, Nana Konadu Yiadom lll in February this year.
The minister received them warmly together with his deputy minister, Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo and assured to honour the invitation at the scheduled dates.
He also urged the queen mothers to remain resolute and contribute their quota to the development and well being of women and children.
