The Chief at Kwasu a farming community near Bechem in the Tano South Municipal of Ahafo region has revealed that neglecting of inter-school activities have been affected our football in the country.
According to Nana Fosu Boadi Amponem, the government and Ministry of Youth and Sports should focus on inter-school activities in the country, especially rural communities because there is a lot of talent to feed Ghana football.
He is, therefore, urging authorities to concentrate on inter-school activities to help improve football in the country as he spoke to Kojo Mframa.
The Chief also used the opportunity to deplore the unprecedented Black Stars poor performance in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon which has become a topic for discussion in the country.
He agreed with the government to intervene because it is a disgrace to the nation and added that,” currently Black Stars players are there for money not a passion for the country”.
