The National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) Functional Executive Committee (FEC) has announced that the party will begin a clean-up operation to commemorate its 30th anniversary.
In its 30th anniversary program, the party stated that the commemoration will be preceded by the 43rd anniversary of the June 4 Uprising.
‘NDC@30: Development Our Goal’ is the theme for the 30th anniversary.
On Saturday, June 4, the events will begin with a clean-up activity across all regions and constituencies.
National presentations will take held at the NDC National Headquarters in Adabraka at 11:00 a.m., according to a message written by the General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, to all regional chairmen.
“Every region should organize one or more activities to commemorate the day, as suitable or unique to their region,” the announcement stated.
All Regional Chairmen and Secretaries were requested to guarantee that the program mentioned above was strictly followed and implemented, according to the memo.
On this day, the Nkwanta South Constituency in the Oti Region will have a national festival.
On Wednesday, June 8, Recognition Day, select cadres and party faithful will be presented with certificates in all 275 constituencies.
