A sixteen seater ford with the registration number GG 2162-17 travelling from Kumasi direction with passengers aboard towards Accra has crushed a motor rider on Yahama motorbike on the Akyem Anyinasin section of Accra – Kumasi Highway.
The accident occurred Wednesday morning May 25, 2021.
According to an eyewitness, the driver of the speeding Ford bus lost control of the steering wheel and veered off its lane to the opposite lane and crushed the motorbike rider who was waiting to join the road.
“Unfortunately for the motor rider from Anyinasin township who had stopped on the junction patiently waiting to also get his way into the main Accra – Kumasi road, the vehicle crushed him and the motorbike”
Three passengers in addition to the motor rider sustained serious injuries and have been referred and admitted to Osiem Hawa Memorial Hospital for treatment.
