A potential candidate for the NPP’s flagbearer position in the run-up to Ghana’s 2024 presidential elections is Assin Central MP Kennedy Ohene Agyapong.
Kennedy Agyapong, who just announced his intention to run for the NPP nomination, claimed in an interview with Suncity Radio that he would have no trouble defeating Dr Bawumia and Alan Kyeremateng.
He added that he will defeat John Dramani Mahama equally, the former president who is anticipated to run for the opposition National Democratic Congress in 2024.
“As for Mahama, he is a missing piece. I will beat him. I will beat Mahama hands down. Because he has failed the North. If you bring the vice president, I will beat him. Dr Bawumia, I will beat him hands down.”
