Mr Samuel Yeboah Gyimah known in the political cycle as ‘Morocco’, New Juaben South Constituency Youth Organizer for NPP, has assured Ghanaian youth of the government’s effort in shaping the economy to improve the living standards in the country.
Mr Samuel Yeboah Gyimah has said that despite the many challenges confronting the Nana Akufo-Addo administration due to the negative impact of covid-19 which has affected countries nationwide, plans are underway to secure a better future for them and generations yet unborn.
He made this assertion during the launching of the Committees of NPP’s New Juaben South Constituency Youth Wing at Koforidua Technical University to spearhead the agenda ‘breaking the 8’ mantra.
The program was held under the theme; of “mobilization and motivating the base to break the eight”.
‘Morocco’ admonished them to have faith in the party as well as the government led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
He said that the NPP government is on the course when it comes to developing Ghana.
He has charged the youth to have faith in the NPP. He added that the impact of COVID-19 slowed down the government’s plans
according to him, the party is aimed at rejuvenating the youth wing base to start everything afresh to see how best they can come together to work hard as one family to break the 8.
“The government will not relent despite the myriad of challenges and problems posed by the coronavirus pandemic, but will continue to work hard to provide the need infrastructure, policies, programmes and social interventions to help provide jobs, improve the livelihoods of the people and help transform society.”
He also called on party members to support the growth and development of the NPP at the constituency level to ensure that they retain their seats come 2024.
“There is the need for members of the party to come together as one people with a common purpose to assist and support the growth and development of the part in the constituency,” said Mr Samuel Yeboah Gyimah.
The Executive Director of the National Service Scheme and former Ashanti Regional Major, Mr Osei Assibey Antwi also advised Ghanaian youth to support the NPP gov’t to retain power in 2024.
According to him, the youth have a key role to play to help the ruling governments break the 8 jinx agenda because their destiny is in their own hands.
He explained that, if the youth work hard for NPP to retain power in 2024, the fortunes of their future will be made bright.
He was optimistic that the upcoming 2024 general elections would be an election of record.
