Ghana international Kudus Mohammed has set sights on achieving great things with Ajax after his outstanding performance in the UEFA Champions League against Rangers.
The 22-year-old scored his first ever goal in the competition as Ajax thumped Rangers 4-0 at the Amsterdam Arena on Wednesday.
The former Nordsjaelland star proved why he deserved a starting place in the team with his man-of-the-match performance.
“This is team play, that’s the most important thing. The whole team has done well, and then the individual comes into its own, although I’m happy with what I’ve accomplished. I kept working hard. This is just the beginning and I have to keep working hard,” Kudus told RTL7.
“I play where the coach needs me. I’m not an attacker, but I do my best everywhere. Yes, I like the position because I score, haha. If I have to play a few games here, I’ll gladly do it.”
