Head coach of Black Stars of Ghana Charles Kwabla Akonnor says Kevin Prince Boateng is not ready to feature for the senior national team after naming his squad for the Sudan clash.
The on-loan Fiorentina forward was evicted from the Black Stars team over misconduct after the 2014 FIFA World Cup held in Brazil.
According to the trainer, Kevin does not fancy playing for the national team after holding talks with him.
“I have spoken to Kevin Prince Boateng over a possible return but he is not ready to play for Ghana,” he said at the presser.
The gaffer has therefore named his 23 man squad for Ghana’s doubleheader against Sudan in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations slated for March 27, 2020.
