The National Council of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has appointed Member of Parliament for Akwapim South Constituency in the Eastern Region,Hon. Osei Bonsu Amoah as chairman of the 18-member Research Committee of the party.
The appointment was made pursuant to Article 10(3) of the NPP constitution.
Other members of the Research Committee are: Dr. Antoinette Tsibu Darko ,Laurette Korkor Asante Otchere Esq ,Dr. Nyame Baafi ,Mr. Ernest Kumi ,Mr. Matthew Kyeremeh ,Dr. Owusu Mensah and Dr. Tina Abrefa.
Others are: Amma Frimpongmaa ,Mr. Peter Oteng Darko ,Dr. Kingsley Agyeman ,Mohammed Tahiru ,Ayisha Salifu, Evans Nimako ,Sharika A. Isahaku ,Hajia Rukaya Ahmed ,Albert Bediako and Nelson Owusu Ansah.
From 2019 to 2022, Mr Yaw Baah, a Senior Partner of Sterling Partnership law firm was chairman of the Research Committee of the party.
Mr Baah, a former Member of Parliament for Kumawu in the Ashanti Region, is also a member of the Vetting Committee of the NPP.
The appointment was made pursuant to Article 10(3) of the NPP constitution.
