France’s six-game winning streak at the World Cup came to an end as they drew with Tunisia in their last group-stage match.
Despite drawing with the reigning world champions France 1-1 last night, Tunisia’s chances of making the World Cup were dashed.
Tunisia finished third in Group D with 4 points after playing three group games, drawing one, losing one, and winning one.
France leads the group with six points, followed by Australia with six points, Tunisia with four points at third place, and Denmark in last place with just one point.
Tunisia set a world cup record by ending France’s six-game winning streak.
However, the Tunisian players were devastated because they did not advance to the next round.
As of now, Senegal is the only African country to have qualified for the round of 16 as Morocco will face Canada on Thursday in Group F.
Ghana and Cameroon will also play their final group games on Friday afternoon, with Ghana taking on Uruguay and Cameroon taking on Brazil.
