France’s Stephanie Frappart, Brazil’s Neuza Back and Mexican Karen Diaz Medina are the all-female referee team in Germany’s match against Costa Rica on Wednesday.
The last group stages encounter which will come off on Thursday will see the three female referees displaying their experiences and skills as far as the mundial is concerned.
It is the first of its kind to have all three female officials on the world stage.
This has generated lots of commentaries as to the competence of female football officials and also assured many others to work hard to earn such heights in their careers.
